Death Tending
Death and grief are profound teachers. Personally, I don’t think we can have honest, life-affirming medicine without being open to the lessons of death. Acupuncture can be very supportive to palliative care, and transformative grief medicine.
There are many ways that death appears in our lives. Our own death. Our beloveds, human and animal. The destruction of the ecosphere. It can be as small as a sparrow and as vast as the sky, and it is always closer to life than the two sides of a hand. There can be healing in death. There can be healing around death. Healing is sometimes simple, and sometimes it is messy work. My practice honors depth and lightness, respects complexity, and celebrates creative adaptation. It is my great honor to meet you wherever you are and support your path.
